Here at SoCal Tech Recruiter we believe that being open and transparent is in the best interest of all involved - employers, candidates and us. Here is a bit about us that will help you understand who we are, how we work and what we can do for you.

Who is SoCal Tech Recruiter?

SoCal Tech Recruiter is a professional placement firm that specializes in recruiting software development and data analytics professionals nationwide.

How long have you been in business?

We’ve been serving the technical community since 2012.

How does your service work?

Our process starts with consultation (either in person or via phone) with the Hiring Manager or Human Resources Representative to discuss the employer’s needs and find out if SoCal Tech Recruiter is a good fit. If we feel we can help you, an authorized party at your company will sign our contract.

After the contract is signed, we meet with the Hiring Manager, again either via phone or in person. At this time we will have an in depth conversation with the Hiring Manager to review the requirements, salary and time frame of the position.

We then begin presenting qualified, pre-screened candidates for your review. If you like them we will schedule the telephone interviews with the candidates. If they are not to your liking, you will provide relevant feedback and we will adjust our search as needed. We will also handle the scheduling for onsite interviews.

Once we have a short list of candidates for your role, SoCal Tech Recruiter will handle the reference checking and background screening.

Once you choose the one you want to hire, we will present the offer to the candidate.

How much does your service cost?

You pay 20% of the candidate’s first year base salary. This does not include any bonuses or commissions.

We’re a startup on a tight budget and can’t afford 20%, but we need recruiting help. Is there anything we can do?

We love startups and want to help them grow. That’s why we offer discounts to startups. Contact us at startups@socaltechrecruiter.com for details.

Do you place contractors?

While we concentrate primarily on full-time placements, we do offer contractors in limited markets. Call for details.

Do you sponsor visa candidates?

No. Although roughly 25% of our clients will transfer the visas of candidates already in the U.S., SoCal Tech Recruiter does not sponsor.

Do you recruit candidates for jobs requiring security clearance?

Yes we do. We recruit software and analytics professionals with DoD clearances varying from confidential to top secret.

Do you recruit for senior management positions?

Yes we do. However, because these are almost always confidential searches, we do not list these jobs on our website. Contact us at recruiters@socaltechrecruiter.com if you are interested in a senior management position.
